CONSERVATION & SUSTAINABILITY

Exploring remote nature while protecting what makes it extraordinary.
EXPLORE

OUR VISION

At Rascal Voyages, we believe that every journey should give back. Our marine safaris and island escapades are designed not only to explore Indonesia’s most remote and spectacular places, but also to help conserve them.

We work alongside local communities and conservation partners to protect the rich biodiversity and cultures that make these regions so unique. Whether it’s restoring coral reefs or reducing waste on remote shores, we’re committed to leaving a positive impact and helping these extraordinary places continue to thrive.

Our Partnership with The SEA People

In Raja Ampat, the heart of marine biodiversity, Rascal Voyages partners with The SEA People, a local NGO dedicated to protecting coral reef ecosystems and supporting coastal communities.

Together, we’ve created the Rascal Coral Garden at Yaf Keru, a long-term reef restoration site where coral is actively rehabilitated. Guests can take part in this work through our Coral Gardener for a Day experience or join one of our Conservation Series Voyages, designed to deepen awareness and connection to these fragile marine environments.

This partnership allows us to combine exploration with purpose, giving our guests the chance to engage directly with conservation in one of the world’s most precious marine ecosystems.

OUR SUPPORT FOR THE MANTA TRUST

In Komodo National Park, Rascal Voyages proudly supports the Manta Trust, one of the world’s leading organisations dedicated to manta ray research and conservation.

Together, we’ve created a series of Conservation Voyages that bring guests closer to Komodo’s marine world, offering rare time on the water alongside researchers working to protect manta rays and the ecosystems they depend on.

Guests can learn more about manta behaviour, identification, cleaning stations, and ongoing conservation work across the region. Komodo is home to some of Indonesia’s most important manta aggregation sites, where manta rays return to the same reefs year after year.

Supporting the Manta Trust allows us to combine exploration with purpose, giving our guests the chance to experience one of Indonesia’s most extraordinary marine environments with greater understanding and connection.
